Best Quality, Ride, Cut and Price-Point
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my LT 46 XT1 a month ago and it has been phenomenal. I tested out several brands including John Deere and the quality of build on Cub Cadet is way better. Low maintenance, great maneuverability, smooth ride. Only wish they would put the mulching blades on all models, but standard blades are good too.

Great features!
Very happy with the purchase of this mower. I upgraded from a 30” Troy-Bilt and the features of the 42” XT1 are a night and day difference. No more shifting gears or fwd/rev with the intellipower heal/toe gas pedal and electronic throttle control dial. Smooth effortless operation, comfortable ride, plenty of power, cuts well, and turns on a dime; with the short turning radius it’s practically a zero-turn! It comes pre-wired for an hour meter (sold separately) that’s very simple to install to monitor maintenance intervals. Love it!! 👍👍

Very happy with this mower
I've had it for a few weeks now, wanted to wait to review until I had the opportunity to use it a few times. So far, I am extremely pleased with the mower. I upgraded from a Craftsman 42' that served me well, but it was time to replace it. This mower cuts great and has plenty of power and is quite fast. Took me a minute to get used to the extra power from my previous one. Comfortable ride and the auto transmission is such an improvement. I'm still not used to having the forward / reverse pedal setup the way it is, but I will get used to it, I'm sure. Turning radius is quite tight for a mower of this style which helps going around trees and things of that nature. Does burn more gas than expected. I only have a 1/2 acre, and it uses about 3/4 of a tank per mow. My previous mower I could get 2 complete cuts with 1 tank. Overall, I would recommend this mower. It's not overly expensive. Delivery by Home Depot went very well. Driver called me prior to arriving and was there very early in the window I was provided. The mower came on a pallet but was fully assembled. The driver removed it from the pallet for me as well as showing me the transmission disengage lever behind the seat. I've heard stories of mowers being delivered that had been sitting outside for a while and were showing signs or rusting or having dents, but this one was pristine. I am very happy with the way it was handled. If you are looking for a new mower, this would be a great option.

Quality Mower
The tractor looks to be well built. It has enough power to cut high grass. It has a nice turning radius. My only gripe was getting it off the wood pallet it came on. Had to do some cutting. Other than that, overall pleased.

Great mower and very reasonable price.
Tractor was delivered when said. Came in great condition. Required some assembly. I cut an acre of grass and it handled it with no problems. Started great and ran great the whole time. Paint looks great! I love the color of these.

Not stock paint job
Ordered it online & received a great lawn mower in my driveway 2 weeks later. It was in almost perfect condition. The only thing I didn’t like was the stock paint job. So I fixed it. Painted it myself & yes including the whitewall tires. Now all of my neighbors are jealous. And my wife has to fight off all the neighborhood ladies with a stick. You’re welcome world.

Excellent reliable lawnmower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my Cub Cadet XT1LT46 lawnmower in 2016 when we bought a home with a half acre of lawn and ten years later I can say I love it. I purchased it with the lawn bagging accessories and they are easy to install and work great for spring dethatching cleanup and fall leaf cleanup. The chopped fall leaves I collect with my XTI mulching blades are used as my garden mulch. No mechanical issues with it in 10 years of operation.

Awesome Cub Cadet Lawn Tractor Mower 2 Month Review
Wow what a mower! I have the XT1 Enduro LT 42 inch cutting deck version. I got this back on July 1st 2025 and I'm very happy with it so far. I have a 2 acre property and mow almost all the 2 acres with it. Starts right up and is very easy to use and operate. This version of this model with the intellipower has 3 options of power for cutting grass, I use the 1st option and it does a beautiful cut of grass. Very impressed by the power this has as this is my first riding mower. I have a very hilly front yard and this mower goes right up the hills with ease. I don't even have to go full speed to go up the hills in the front yard, very impressive. Transmission is very impressive with its power. The tires are holding up great also and to me have great traction. This mower can go in reverse and cut grass as well and has cruise control too which is awesome. It also has a deck washout port to attach a hose to clean under the deck too, which I use every time after I mow. It has a 3 gallon fuel tank. It does not guzzle gas I usually fill it to 2 gallons and I still have a good amount of fuel left when I'm done mowing. It takes me 1 hour and 50 minutes to mow my yard. It does not have an hour meter on it unfortunately. I have 20 hours of mowing time on it as I count how long I use it every time and write it down to keep track of the hours on the engine. The hood on this mower is plastic but it seems to be holding up great, no bending or cracking. Had it in the 90 degree heat in full sun and the hood was fine no issues at all. Have photos in this review of my yard with how the grass looks after it gets cut and it looks awesome. All in all very happy and would highly recommend to anyone who needs a mower like this.
