Safe operation starts before the engine does.
Before every use
Read the operator's manual. Check engine oil, tire pressure, blade condition and that the operator presence system stops the blades when you leave the seat.
Wear sturdy footwear and eye protection. Never carry passengers.
On slopes
Mow up and down slopes, not across them, and never on ground steeper than 15 degrees. Reduce speed and avoid sudden pivots on soft or wet turf.
